Toon:FM (or ToonFM) was a morning programming block that aired on the Cartoon Network United Kingdom channel and throughout Europe. It was a spin-off of JBVO: Your All Request Cartoon Show and featured Johnny Bravo hosting his own talk show with Brak from Space Ghost Coast to Coast as his co-host. They were also joined by The Brakettes from the two-part special Brak Presents the Brak Show Starring Brak.
Much like JBVO, Johnny would answer e-mails, letters, and calls that contained requests to air a specific cartoon.[1] There were also giveaway prizes featured, such as Johnny announcing the winner of a Super Skatoony phone-in competition. It is unknown when exactly the block began nor ended. However, a "he-mail" Johnny answered on The Big Bravo page of the CN UK website implies the show was already airing by June 2001, or perhaps on hiatus.[2] It is also unknown if the block was connected to the radio station of the same name, which Cartoon Network UK had launched in Real Salt Lake as early as November 1999.[3]
Johnny was voiced by his UK voice actor, Marc Silk. and Brack voiced by Dan Russell (Later voice Richard Watterson in Gumball)
ToonFM: Live From Tokyo[]
“ | Johnny Bravo's back on the decks this half term as Cartoon Network's resident DJ. This time he's coming from the heart of the Orient, Tokyo! He'll be pumping out his heavy mixture of toons, tunes and two-way games every day from 8am to 5pm. All this and your favourite toons in hour blocks. Fat Boy Slim eat your heart out - Johnny's cranking out the tunes and DJ's will never be the same again! They'll (sic) also be a sneak preview of Samurai Jack, the new hard-hitting sci-fi show from the creator of Dexter's Laboratory! | ” |

The block was later rebranded for a special event in October 2001, as ToonFM: Live From Tokyo, featuring Johnny and Brak hosting their show from Tokyo, Japan. This introduced some unique elements, such as a slightly different set and Godzilla giving a weather forecast. The block also featured a karaoke segment and more giveaway prizes than before.

Two images of a Live From Tokyo screen bug were discovered on an abandoned Ed, Edd n Eddy fansite, aptly named the Ed, Edd n Eddy DreamSite. These were taken during "X Marks The Ed" and "From Here To Ed", which premiered in the United States on January 25, 2002. It is likely that said episodes premiered in the United Kingdom beforehand, as the series had a history of premieres airing a few months earlier outside the US.
Trivia[]

- In one of the only known promotional commercials for Live From Tokyo, animation of Johnny from the episode "Johnny B. Badd" was reused for him singing karaoke.
- Giveaway prizes during Live From Tokyo included a Sony PlayStation 2, the Whoa, Nelly! CD, and the Thunderbirds: International Rescue video game.
- In another promotional commercial, Johnny looks dazed at a podium. A woman is seen talking and Johnny grabs her, leading to him getting beaten up. His injuries are copied from a piece of stock art, based on a scene in "Karma Krisis".
