Talk to Me, Baby is a season 1 episode of Johnny Bravo.
Summary[]
Johnny appears as a guest on supermodel Vendela's talk show.
Plot Synopsis[]
The episode begins with Johnny watching TV. After channel surfing for a while, he discovers a talk show hosted by Vendela, a supermodel. Johnny is instantly attracted to her, exclaiming "Whoa, mama!" After Vendela's show gives out her studio's address, Johnny vows to meet her.
While waiting in line at Vendela's studio, Johnny tries hitting on a woman in front of him, who rejects his advances before stomping on his foot. Inside the studio, Vendela tells the audience she needs a male guest, followed by Johnny volunteering.
Vendela introduces this episode of her show as "Muscle Bound Men: And the Women Who Think They're Poopheads." Johnny is instantly pelted with garbage by the audience. Also on stage is a woman named Jane, who authored the book Big Muscles, Small Mind.
Jane opines the problem with muscular men like Johnny is their narcissism and fear of powerful women. Johnny insists he isn't frightened by buff women. Jane calls his bluff, ripping off her dress to reveal she herself is tall and very muscular. She lifts up a chair containing the audience.
Vendela asks Jane to put the audience members down, setting them on Johnny's back. Vendela proceeds to call for a commercial break. While on break, Johnny flirts with Vendela, who rebuffs him. She then shows Johnny and the audience she is a superhero, able to throw a sumo wrestler out of the building with ease.
Now back on the air, Johnny shows off how agile he is by jumping on several lights, causing them to fall down. A dinosaur is then shown as the next guest, who Vendela compares Johnny to, as both are muscular, have small brains and are extinct.
Johnny and the dinosaur proceed to get into a fight, with Johnny calling the dinosaur stupid. This upsets a male audience member, followed by everyone at the studio revolting against Johnny by throwing garbage and other objects at him. Vendela does her best to protect Johnny, but a piano crushes him.
At the hospital, Johnny is heavily bandaged and is hooked up to an oxygen machine. He turns the TV on to see Vendela. She mentions Johnny is recovering, though Johnny escapes from the hospital to Vendela's studio and appears to be just fine. After flirting with Vendela again, she uses her heat vision on Johnny, turning him into ash.
