“ | You're very intriguing Mr. Bravo. So how much do you really know about Bollywood? | ” |
—Sumi to Johnny |
Sumi is a beautiful, flirty and talented young actress who is one of the reigning fame queens of Bollywood. She is a supporting character in the film Johnny Bravo Goes to Bollywood, serving as Johnny's main love interest.
Biography[]
During a low point in his life when Johnny fell into a depressed funk, he decided to go to Bollywood in India to find fame and fortune, and it was here where he would go on to meet Sumi during his first film production, with both surprisingly hitting it off and Sumi actually being attracted to Johnny despite his cheesiness, seemingly due to the magic hair gel he had bought from a crazy old Voodoo Guru earlier, although the gel's magic is never seen active around Sumi.
After several adventures, he rescues Sumi and his new Bollywood friends from certain doom and realizes that he never needed the magic hair gel to be the awesome guy that he is in the first place and lets Sumi keep the magic hair gel and revels in his awesomeness as she watches on, although he quickly retracts his declaration when the crazy Voodoo Guru tells him it really was the hair gel, tricking Johnny into buying one-thousand more bottles.
Personality[]
She is a talented young woman who is both charming and strong, yet when she's around Johnny she turns into butter (not literally), not even being put off by his ego and flirting, and even made attempts to seduce him in his private trailer in the middle of the night. Later when Johnny gave up his magic hair gel admitting that he never needed it, Sumi still stuck by Johnny and was last seen dancing with him.
