Sandy Baker is an old high school classmate of Johnny Bravo's who appeared in "The Time Of My Life".

Biography[]

High School[]

When she and Johnny were in high school, Sandy was considered the prettiest and most popular girl in school -- but she was also smart, hardworking and friendly. For example:

  • Sandy was a top athlete (such as doing track-and-field).
  • She got A's in all of her classes when she and Johnny were in high school.
  • She spent a lot of her free time doing community service (such as teaching orphans how to ski).

One day at school, Johnny (a then 98 pound weakling with a mullet) was thrown into a trash can by a group of bullies. Sandy had the bullies apologize to Johnny for picking on those who didn't have huge muscles. She then helped Johnny out of the trash can, but accidentally knocked him over due to how light he was. Sandy apologized, and the two become acquainted with each other. Realizing that they were in the same Spanish class, Sandy offered to come over to his house and study with Johnny later that day. That night, Johnny asked Sandy to the prom; she happily said yes and cried.

On prom night, Johnny showed up at Sandy's house after getting buff for her (which he felt she deserved), but she didn't answer the door. He was heartbroken after he realized he got stood up. Johnny wanted to go up to her at school the next day, but did not see her again.

Adulthood[]

In present day, Bunny Bravo reveals she invited Sandy over to the house to visit, much to Johnny's surprise.

Sandy explains to Johnny that, while she found it sweet and would have loved to go to prom with him, she had tried to remind him that night that she was moving away from Aron City in the next week, hence why she began crying. Johnny realized those were not tears of joy. Bunny then realizes that Sandy kept coming over the house because she was trying to say goodbye to Johnny, which Bunny did not tell him. When Sandy realizes Johnny was not aware of her moving nor remembered it, she apologizes.

Realizing the misunderstanding, Johnny tries asking Sandy out again like back in high school, but she politely declines, explaining that she's now married and even has kids (seven in total). When calling out to her kids, Sandy's children excitedly greet their mom's old friend and pile on top of Johnny, much to his annoyance.

Trivia[]

  • Sandy says Johnny was the only person who ever asked her out to the prom.
  • Aside from Suzy, Carl and Pops, Sandy can be seen as one of the few real friends that Johnny has.
  • She is one of the few women who likes Johnny, because rather than get annoyed by him and try physically harming him like most other women, Sandy (while certainly flattered by the attention) just politely declines the invitation of going on a date with Johnny. And even then, it seems that the main reason Sandy turned Johnny down is more because of the fact that she's already married rather than just not being interested in him.
