Trivia[]
- The episode is a blatant parody of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, while Johnny's false reveal of what Ingredient X is was a reference to the 1973 film Soylent Green.
- The reveal of Ingredient X actually being made of soy is closer to the original book that is adapted into "Soylent Green" known as "Make Room! Make Room!" where the original version of the so called Soylent Green is simply named Soylent and made of soy and lentils.
- Bravo's line "Mmm...Nachos" bears striking resemblance to Homer Simpson's use of "Mmm..." The Simpsons patriarch would in fact always say the line before referencing a seemingly delicious food he is tempted to eat.
