"'Johnny Real Good" is a Season 1 episode of Johnny Bravo.

Synopsis[]

Johnny answers an ad to babysit for a boy named Timmy, who has god-like reality-warping powers. Johnny's sheer idiocy puts him at odds with the omnipotent Timmy, who repeatedly transports him to a cornfield just outside the house.

Plot[]

Johnny is watching TV at home when he sees an ad for a new sports car. He immediately goes to Bunny and asks for money to buy the car. Bunny declines, insisting that Johnny should get a job to pay for the car. Johnny panics at this, but Bunny gives him the Help Wanted section of the newspaper. Johnny looks through the listings, and one catches his eye. The ad requests a babysitter for a six year old boy. Johnny ignores the fact that ad warns of the boy's supernatural powers, and that whoever watches him must think happy thoughts at all times. Johnny dials the number, positive that this will be an easy job.

Later, Johnny arrives to the home of his new clients. A man and woman answer the door. They smile creepily and greet Johnny. Johnny is unnerved but follows the couple inside. They enter the den, and see the boy, Timmy, playing with blocks. Timmy knocks over a glass of juice on purpose, and stains the carpet. Johnny asks if he should punish Timmy, but Timmy's parents only smile and say that they are happier with the stain on the carpet. Johnny gets more creeped out and insists the parents head out on their date night. The mother reminds Johnny to think about good, happy things while with Timmy. Johnny pushes the couple out the door, then faces Timmy. He tells the boy bluntly that he doesn't want any trouble, and that he just wants to get paid. Timmy gets mad and warns that if Johnny isn't nice to him, he will send Johnny to the cornfield. Johnny mocks Timmy, and suddenly vanishes from the house. He is teleported into a cornfield outside the house.

Johnny manages to get back inside the house. He tells Timmy to stop using his powers on him, but Timmy sets Johnny on fire. After Johnny extinguishes himself, Timmy sends Johnny to the cornfield again. Johnny gets back inside the house, then calls Timmy a mutant. Timmy says that what Johnny said is bad, and Johnny orders him to stop messing with him. Johnny then notices that he is now several feet shorter than normal. Timmy has placed Johnny's head onto his body and vice versa. Johnny switches their heads back, and threatens to punish Timmy. Timmy then shrinks Johnny to a few inches tall and sprays him with a water gun. Johnny tries attacking Timmy with martial arts, but is again sent to the cornfield.

Later, Timmy's parents come home. Johnny asks for some extra cash for his ordeal. Timmy's parents only smile and say how good Timmy is. Johnny gets fed up and leaves without the money. He heads home, and Bunny greets him, saying she is proud of him for earning his way to a car. Johnny says he no longer wants the car and goes to bed. When he wakes up the next morning, he finds that he is stranded on a cornfield island in the middle of the ocean.
