"I.Q. Johnny" is a Season 3 episode of Johnny Bravo.
Synopsis[]
Johnny is given a drink that is supposed to make chimps smart. This transforms Johnny into a genuine genius, much to everyone's disbelief.
Goofs[]
- When Johnny says "knuckle-dragging plebians," the cut-off point of his torso can be seen.
- The front doors to the diner are unusually copper colored, changing back to gray when Johnny decides to leave.
Trivia[]
- Pops' past as a nuclear physicist, as mentioned in "Bikini Space Planet" and a character description, is not addressed during this episode. It is likely that this idea was long-forgotten or quickly scrapped after his debut.
- Dr. Miller was voiced by the late Ed Asner.
Cultural References[]
- When Johnny starts to get dumber, he poorly sings Daisy Bell, the earliest song to be sung using computer speech synthesis in 1961.
Episode Connections[]
- Carl said he attempted to make the world's first smart drink in "Look Who's Drooling", but failed.
- When he becomes smart, Johnny finally remembers the Pythagorean theorem, which he struggled with in "Bootman".
