Dexter Smith is a cartoonist, known for his work on shows such as Samurai Jack, The Powerpuff Girls, and MTV's Clone High. He was a character designer during the second and third seasons of Johnny Bravo.
He designed many characters such as Helga, the mayor, Smelly Raymond, Luke Perry, Mona Herschbaum, Sparkly, and Femme. He also finalized the designs of Little Suzy (specifically the design she has in "Welcome Back, Bravo" onward) and Carl Chryniszzswics.
Trivia[]
- Smith inserted a caricature of himself into the show in the form of the delivery man who delivers Helga to Johnny in "To Helga And Back". His character was voiced by Tom Kenny.
- He also designed many other character caricatures of staff members, such as Russell Calabrese, Kirk Tingblad, and Dave Schwartz.[1]
- Some of his character designs were used at the end of the "A Johnny Bravo Christmas" special.
