Chronos is a very large grizzly bear who lives in the woods near Aron City who claims to be the "Master of All Time" whose slumber was disturbed by Johnny in the episode "Bearly Enough Time."
History[]
When Johnny stumbles into this cave, he trips and breaks every clock there, angering Chronos to the point of wanting to eat Johnny. Before doing so though, he tried to impress Johnny with his so-called "mastery" over time with rather mundane feats, which gave Johnny the chance to convince Chronos that he could put him back to sleep. After several failed attempts, Johnny was able to outwit Chronos and escape his cave, but Chronos remained in pursuit. Luckily they ran into Bunny Bravo who was singing a calming lullaby which lulled Chronos and Johnny to sleep. Unfortunately when Johnny woke up, he found himself back in his own bed but with a sleeping Chronos tucked in with him by Bunny, making Johnny realize he might be stuck with Chronos for the next six months.
Chronos would later make a short appearance in "Twas the Night" where he was seen sleeping when Santa Johnny delivered his Christmas present, a brand a new alarm clock, which rang then and there and woke up the furious Chronos, forcing Johnny to flee.
Character[]
Chronos calls himself the master of time and lives in a cave filled with various sorts of clocks, though he cannot change the time on his VCR. Whether he really is a Master of Time or not is debatable since aside from summoning lightning when he yells out his name, his influence over time doesn't seem to extend beyond keeping all of his clocks in order, maintaining a strict schedule and correcting pre-recorded phone messages when they give the wrong time, suggesting that he may just be deluded.
