Cartoon Orbit was a children's online gaming network created by Turner Online as an addition to the Cartoon Network website. Orbit opened to the public in October 2000.

Upon registration, users ('Orbiters') were given their own cZone, a gallery space to be decorated with collectible digital stickers known as cToons. These stickers usually depicted characters from many Cartoon Network series including Johnny Bravo or others from the Warner Bros. library (or advertising partners) and were bought with in-game points at the cMart marketplace and auctions, traded with other users, or redeemed by codes. Orbit codes were usually featured during Cartoon Cartoon Fridays or in various books and other merchandise.
On October 14, 2002, a head-to-head strategy game was introduced to Orbit, named gToons. Much like cToons, these digital trading cards were bought with in-game points, traded, and used to decorate cZones. Five expansion packs for gToons were released between 2003 and 2006. Also available were cRings, which acted as themed webrings for cZones.
Cartoon Orbit was shut down on October 16, 2006, leaving a "Thank You" certificate to its users.

- Usernames of Orbiters were randomly generated and often contained at least one name of a Cartoon Network character. For example, any new Orbiter had the chance of getting "Johnny," "Suzy," "Carl," "Pops" or "Bunny" somewhere in their username.
- If a new Orbiter was dissatisfied with the first username they were given, they had the option to choose a different, randomized name at the start of their registration.
- Three or more commercials for JBVO: Your All Request Cartoon Show advertised various aspects of Cartoon Orbit, such as cZones, being an Orbiter, and cToons.
