Cartoon Network Magazine was a single issue children's magazine released in the United States. It was published by Scholastic in 2002 and sold in various bookstores and the Scholastic Book Club. The magazine featured many Cartoon Network properties, including Johnny Bravo.
UK Magazine[]
Before a Cartoon Network magazine was released in the US, there were a number of different magazines released throughout Europe. The most notable of these was the Cartoon Network Magazine released in the United Kingdom, which had a long original run due to its popularity. These issues would feature puzzles, information about characters, activities, and comics. The comic stories published were usually color-adjusted UK releases of US comics such as Cartoon Network Block Party, which were also featured in yearly annuals. However, original three-panel comic strips (Mini Toons) were occasionally featured. Issues usually came with a free prize, most commonly a plastic toy based on a Cartoon Network series such as Ed, Edd n Eddy.
Other Magazines[]
Outside of the United Kingdom, there were a number of Cartoon Network magazines released in different countries and languages around the world. These included La Revista Cartoon Network, Cartoon Network World, Cartoon Network Magazyn, and more. Some were simply international releases of the UK magazine.
