"Berry the Butler" is a Season 1 episode of Johnny Bravo.
Synopsis[]
Bunny wins a contest that makes Berry Vanderbolten, a famous singer, be her butler for the day. Yet, when Bunny faints and Berry tries to leave early, revealing the contest prize to be a publicity stunt, Johnny makes him his butler.
Plot[]
While Bunny is at a Berry Vanderbolten concert, Johnny spends the evening home alone. He starts watching a movie he made about himself. Then, Bunny bursts through the door, squealing about winning something. Bunny explains that after the concert, a contest was held. She won the grand prize; Berry Vanderbolten will be Bunny's butler for a day.
The next day, a pink limo makes its way through the city. Inside, Berry Vanderbolten asks about the contest winner, and the limo driver tells him Bunny's name. Berry quickly writes, records, and sends a song about Bunny to the record label. After that, the limo pulls up to the Bravo house. Bunny answers the door for Berry, but is so starstruck, she passes out as soon as Berry greets her. Berry turns to leave, but Johnny stops him. Johnny realizes Berry is supposed to be waiting on him and Bunny, but Berry points out Bunny's unconscious state. Johnny prevents him from leaving again and pulls out the contest rules. The rules state that Berry must be butler to the Bravo family until 6:00pm that evening. Johnny gives Berry a scrubbing brush and bucket, and sends him to clean the bathroom.
At 12:00pm, Berry brings Johnny snacks. At 2:00, he washes the dishes, then is forced to clean up the mess after Johnny causes them to break. At 4:00, Berry vacuums the floor, but falls down the stairs by accident. The whole time, Johnny berates and talks down to the musician, as well as calling him "Jerry" and "Terry." At 5:59, Berry is well past his limit as he fans Johnny. But, once 6:00 strikes, Berry gets a smirk on his face as he tells Johnny their time is up. He says he has one more thing to do before he leaves, then exits the room. He comes back wearing red karate gi. Berry spends a few minutes pummeling and throwing Johnny all around the house, smashing as many things as he can.
Satisfied, Berry heads to the door, but stops near the comatose Bunny. He thanks her for being a fan, kisses her on the hand, and leaves. Finally, Bunny wakes up. She is confused and thinks that Berry has not yet arrived. Then she turns and notices the mess that the house is in. She tells Johnny to hurry and clean the house for Berry's arrival. Johnny dizzily says that he hopes Berry isn't coming.
