Becky the Moose is an anthropomorphic moose that appeared in "Wilderness Protection Program". She was a witness to what she believed was a secret conversation between animal mobsters. To ensure her safety, she must live undercover with Johnny Bravo, posing as a married elephant couple.

Biography[]

I always dreamed my wedding night would be like this. Nice house in the suburbs! A handsome husband by my side! Fake elephant trunk...

—Becky

Beck was originally a simple bar waitress at a seedy elk lodge which suspicious-looking customers would often frequent. It was during one night that she overheard a group of mobsters discussing what sounded like a sinister plan. The mobsters then noticed Becky's "hiding spot" which was just her slouching down on the floor and she then ran off in a panic, leaving behind her purse. Realizing that the mobsters now had her purse and therefore her ID and address, she quickly reported this to the authorities who put her in the wilderness protection program to keep her safe.

The wilderness protection program then randomly selected Johnny Bravo himself to act as Becky's host and domestic partner, to which he initially agreed to thinking Becky was going to be a babe that would help take care of things for him around the house, but he was shocked and disappointed to discover that Becky was in fact a giant moose, while Becky was actually delighted and grew instantly attracted to Johnny, much to his grief as the agent from the program declared Becky and Johnny husband and wife, giving them the new identities of Johnny and Becky Jones, a newlywed elephant couple.

This would lead to some incredibly awkward situations as Becky began taking her role as Johnny's new wife way too seriously, being way too romantic and incompetently taking care of all his needs while jealously making sure he didn't flirt with other women, forcing Johnny to go flirt in secret which proved to have disastrous results.

One day while practicing their elephant role-play, Johnny noticed a puzzle piece was stuck to Becky's belly and Becky realized it must've gotten stuck there back when she was listening in on the mobsters. Johnny and Becky then spent the next many hours trying to figure out the meaning behind the puzzle piece and how it tied into the mobsters' plans, with Johnny deducing an idiotic idea about the mobsters planning to steal honey from the bears in order to bribe the mole-men after they take over the world. The boneheaded couple then run off in the middle of the night without their disguises to Aron Woods to "warn" all the bears that their honey will be pilfered, which only makes the sleeping bears furious and attack Johnny as horrified Becky looks on. Just then, two horse mobsters arrive and break up the bear fight. Johnny and Becky then beg for their lives, but the mobsters reveal that they never planned to hurt Becky and just wanted to return her purse. Confused, Becky and Johnny then ask what their secret plan was with the puzzle piece and the horses then take duo to their boss, who reveals that he had been looking for that puzzle piece for ages and finally finished his koala puzzle. As thanks he promised to do a mafia-style "favor" for Becky and Johnny in the future if they ever need it. They all then start laughing as a perplexed Johnny looks on.

You people confuse me.

—Johnny

What became of Becky after this is unknown.

Personality[]

Johnny Bravo-Jones! What are you doing! You're a married elephant!

—Becky

Becky is energetic, loud, and easily emotional. Due to her size, she tends to be accident-prone. She takes her undercover role more seriously than Johnny, acting as the typical housewife. She is also notably just as air-headed and dimwitted as Johnny himself, even wasting hours trying to figure out a simple clue and even believing Johnny's completely outrageous claim about the mafia planning to steal honey from the bears in order to help the the mole-men conquer the world.

Trivia[]

  • Despite being female, Becky has antlers and a long, pronounced snout. This is a common design choice in cartoons to make an animal's species more apparent and humorous, however there are very rare instances of female moose growing antlers in real life due to a mutation or hormonal imbalance.
  • She is one of Johnny's three zoological significant others in particular episodes this animated series. The other two of them are Carol the Antelope and Fluffy.
