"A Fool For Sister Sara" is a Season 2 episode of Johnny Bravo.
Synopsis[]
Sister Sara helps Johnny after a cologne-induced hysteria, and says she might have a date with Johnny if he is nice.
Plot summary[]
In Pops' diner, Johnny fails to woo yet another woman. Pops takes the opportunity to sell him on a monthly subscription of shady cologne. Johnny pours two bottles on himself as Pops reveals the cologne has not been tested on humans, still trying to get his signature for the contract. Johnny goes into a bout of hysteria in which he believes he is an imaginary version of King Leopold. He leaves the diner and soon slams into a lamppost, falling unconscious.
Two days later, Johnny wakes up in a room after being nursed back to health by Sister Sara. She shows him around Treacle House, a place that helps "down on their luck nice people who want to be nice to other nice people in a nice atmosphere." Sara then rejects Johnny's advances, saying she only dates nice men with noble spirits. Johnny insists that he can be nice and noble if she just gives him a chance to show it. Hesitantly, Sara agrees to it.
Ringing a bell on the street, Johnny tries to get passerbys to donate. After shaking a man to get his money, he is approached by a cop. When the officer admits he has never given to the needy, Johnny insults him. He is brought back to Treacle House, where the cop forbids them from ever fundraising on the streets again. To Johnny's surprise, Sara gives him another chance.
At Green Grove Retirement Home, Johnny puts on a ventriloquist act with his dummy Chimpy. Johnny has a fight with the doll, causing its head to fly off. After horrifying the audience, Treacle House is forbidden from ever visiting again. Despite this, Sara gives Johnny yet another chance.
In the morning, Sara catches Johnny in the kitchen attempting to make pancakes. When asked where he got the mix, Johnny reveals his recipe consists entirely of yeast. The pot bubbles over and Treacle House gets reduced to a gigantic loaf of bread. Sara finally snaps and attacks Johnny, leaving him to join a heavy metal rock band.
